POSIMED

Fees & Cost Structure

A recovery-based service fee. A clear view of separate costs.

Our service fee: 20% of additional receipts

PosiMed's service fee is 20% of incremental insurer cash actually received above the initial insurer payment, including additional payments from negotiated settlements and IDR recoveries.

The fee is based on actual additional receipts, not an award or determination alone. It is calculated before deducting process costs.

Separate process costs, funded upfront

The client funds government administrative fees and certified IDR entity fees upfront, separately from PosiMed's service fee.

Applicable nonrefundable process costs remain the client's responsibility even if there is no recovery. Any refunded IDR entity fees are credited back to the client.

Check the applicable fees for the dispute using the CMS fee-update notices and the current CMS list and fee schedule.

Monthly invoicing

PosiMed invoices monthly for its service fee on actual additional insurer receipts. Invoices are due within 30 days.

A hypothetical example

Suppose the initial insurer payment is $1,000 and the insurer later pays an additional $3,000. PosiMed's service fee is 20% of $3,000, or $600.

If nonrefundable process costs are $200, the client retains $2,200 of the additional $3,000 after the $600 service fee and $200 process costs. The service fee remains $600 because process costs are not deducted before calculating it.

These amounts are illustrative only. The $200 process-cost assumption is not a current government fee quote. This example does not predict recovery or net results.

Before work begins

Review the written service agreement, scope, and applicable process costs before deciding whether to pursue a dispute. Eligibility, recovery, and net recovery are not guaranteed.
